Very Cool!

Is that onyx as the stone?

Thank you, and yes, it is actually veryyy comfortable to wear!! I've been wearing it since I finished taking the pics and about the only time I even remember it's there is when people compliment me on it!! I've had gotten 7 orders for ones either exactly like it or with different stones already!! Smiley

Gorgeous!  This has such an elegant look.
I've always wanted to learn how to make chainmaille.  Though when I mentioned it to the hubby, he asked if I could make him a shirt.  I told him i might need to start smaller than that.   Roll Eyes

On the original topic: Very nice. It's not often I make rings just because I find them such a pain to fit people properly unless you're near the micromaille level. What are your ring stats on the Byzantine?

For Kender: You could start with a shirt, sure. I know plenty of people who have done it, but they will take alot of time, and alot of adjustment. It's usually a good patience builder to work on a bracelet or something similar, maybe a dice bag or coif. If not before the shirt, then alongside it, so you're not staring at a month or three of work as your first project and get burnt out because of the time involved.

If you're interested though I have a brief and easy series of blog posts as sortof an introduction, a few links to outside resources as well, and you can always PM me if you have questions.
