So I did my first personal swap today.    Maremare312 and I met at a local Starbucks to swap items!  It so much fun meeting new, local crafters!  I traded her some prints of my photography and got some awesome stuff in return!  She used her super-duper crochet skills and made me:

some Mary Jane slipper for my 3 year old, who loves them:


The cutest cowboy booties for my son, no action shot because he is still not a due for a few weeks:


and a calorimetry for me!:



I have been dying for one of these!  It has been so cold here in Portland the last few weeks, now my ears can stay all toasty! 

I am so glad that we swapped Maremare, thank you so much!  Not only did I get some great stuff but I made a new friend.

I made a wonderful swap with Loves2 experiment

I sent her a portrait I painted of her sister's children, and she sent me an unbelievably beautiful and perfect wallet she custom designed for me!

I can't stop looking at it! I received it today and within seconds had transferred all my essentials to it! Just look at the cute birdie fabric!:D



I need to carry my passport around so she designed the wallet around that. I have a large central pocket to hold my passport, with my Bonobus card in front for easy access 4 card pockets which have a large note pocket behind. Then on the back I have a change purse, which is even big enough to hold my phone when I'm all out of pockets!

Here is a pic of the 8x10 black and white photos klum78 swapped with me! She took them herself. I had tried to "win" them in the silly santa swap, but lost out, so she kindly offered to do a personal swap with me! And I'm so glad we did, we live in the same town and it was really fun to meet up. I am so excited to get some colorful mats for my pics and decorate (I'm moving to a new place in the next couple months!) I think there are better pics of the pics in her swap shop.



She also gave me a really cute crochet pattern to make an elephant, my oldest nephew loves elephants so I will have give it a go!

OMG going to have to start stalking this board for personal swaps!

I love the wallet and the fabric used, the calorimetry is great and the photos! My husbands a photographer as well, I should make him come on here and get involved and he can start swapping photos from all over so we can add to the walls.
