Wowww... another year!

    This swap gallery is intended as a way to recognize all the wonderful personal swaps that are done in this community!      

Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers!

Idea for this thread

Yaay I get to be the 1st this year to share my wonderful Craftster experience with everyone. 

Ok So I saw Katxena's glorious  postage stamp WIP quilt and contacted her to offer some different coloured & patterned cotton pieces.  She very kindly offered to send me a few things in return. While we chatted I mentioned that I had thought about trying ATC's but hadn't because I had so much other crafting stuff to do.

To my amazement this package arrived to today:



My very own ATC Starter kit! Complete with a Beginners Guide to ATC's, several prepared backing pieces, an ATC design frame, and lots of samples of text, papers, images and cut outs - and everything is neatly labeled. Not only that but she post-stalked me (her own words) and chose colours and themes she knew I would like! She also threw in one of her favorite crochet patterns and a note on the differences between UK and US crochet terms.

Lastly she also sent me a Katxena Original ATC (see top left, inside the note card) - which I think is really cool.

I have made a promise to myself that the 1st ATC I make (that Im proud of) will be sent 1st class to Katxena.

Yay!  I'm so glad that the package arrived in one piece and that you like it Bushbaby!  It was so fun to put it all together for you.    I can't wait to see what you make, and I'll look forward to an ATC!   I love collecting first ATCs!!!

SerialCrafter and I arranged a personal swap.

I knit the socks with Kraemer superwash wool that I had hand-dyed. 



These slippers were knit with recycled yarn from an Abercrombie and Fitch sweater coat.



She made me this corset in return!  I asked for a nice, lightweight fabric because it's hot in Texas, you know.  The eyelet is perfect!  It fits me so nicely...the model shown here is smaller around than I am, so I had to use a clothespin to keep it on the stand, but there was NO WAY I was going to model it for the photo shoot!  LOL

This is my first posting in the personal swap area. I just did a personal swap with cupcakeaccessories

I don't believe she's received mine as of yet but I received from her today.
2 wonderful charm bracelet's, one for my daughter and one for our foreign exchange student and as an extra surprise cupcake made me an adorable miniature cupcake out of polymer clay with a heart charm that I have on my cell case now.

and the fabric notecard is so cute! hehe. i had a beam on my face when i saw the package in our letterbox, and even more so once i'd opened it!

I received a wonderful package of fabric from bushbaby -- I'm going to use these in my postage stamp quilt. 



I love the pig fabric the most!    She also sent a magazine about Scotland, some candy, and packaged everything beautifully with a pretty ribbon and card.  Thanks bushbaby!
