I got my craft in the works.  My new years resolution is several things, but one of them is to stop using swear words as often or not at all if possible.

I am so agreeing with the whole "none of these will fit me" topic - I wear a men's size XXXL Tshirt!

sooo - not happening to be getting one from your shop...

I want the craftster's skully and crochet hooks! phooey!

but I have no idea how to make my resolution into something that would be crafty...

have to think about it, and not sure if I have time right now...

hmmmm

I have been reading and reading this and trying to figure out to make this challenge work for me! I finally go it today! (I think anyway!)

Since I am a newbie here, well, found all of you in December 2007, I have been so excited to get crafting. One of my resolutions was to craft more this year. It's been so long and Craftsters has me all fired up. But...how to make that fit this challenge! I think, if I get my "studio" organized....I'll spend more time in there! Does that work for this? Finding some clever ways to organize the studio? Hmmmmm....?  Huh

I think that organizing your studio and taking photos of what you did (maybe even before and after photos!) could be a nice entry for this challenge. Smiley Perhaps you'll come up with some awesome organization ideas that will be helpful to others!

This idea is awesome. Smiley My resolution is to break my habit of not using bookmarks. It's a bad habit to have.  Embarrassed So I'm going to make a lot of really cute bookmarks that will inspire me to break my bad habit.

hmmmm... i can't stop thinking of ideas for resolutions i don't even have!

someone who has resolved to use all their yarn scraps could make themselves a thingy to measure the yarn, so that they could organize them and know exactly how much they have left. (it's easier to chose projects that way!)

someone who has resolved to stop biting their nails could make a cool pair of gloves to wear so that their nails aren't available for biting.

someone who has resolved to start exercising more could make some sort of creative storage for exercise equipment that still keeps it visible to remind them. (i keep planning to crochet a net to hang my exercise ball from the ceiling, because i always tuck it away and forget about it!)

now if i could just think of ideas for MY resolutions!

I had to offer my thought on this one in case anyone was thinking of doing it. A great way to stop bitting nails would be to make up a small basket or bag that's small enough to go everywhere with you. Keep a small manicure set in it with cotton, nail polish remover and at least clear polish. Every time you feel the urge buff or file your nails and fix the paint job, soon you'll find you don't want to bite them as the paint will chip and look gross, and you have less tendency to bite them if there are no snags to grab hold of.

I was thinking of doing this but then though my "item" wouldn't fit. I'm still somewhat unsure it fits so  I'll have to think about it. My 1st resolution this year was to make realistic resolutions. So no diet, work out more, save the world and fly to a new country each weekend kind of things....simple stuff I can reasonably achieve and be proud of but that also aid me and my family in life.

Yes! That's the plan.....the hard part is organizing a mess that took 15 years to make by February 1!  Shocked I better get busy! The sooner I finish, the sooner I can get back to crafting!  Grin
