Hey All!  I'm waiting for something to be ready for it's next step, so today I busted out these which are definitely useful and hopefully beautiful in at least one way.   Wink

Thank you pinkyanddinky!  I love a craft that keeps me gigglin'!  And now I'm off to deliver them.  Here's hoping he thinks they're suitable.

G'night fair craftsters!

Annacharlotte - I love that shower curtain! Alas (as my partner knows...) my bathroom suite is a stomach-turningly 'highlighter yellow' colour - with aqua marble tiles... I doubt even a shower curtain of that delightfulness could bring it back from the brink of utter hideousness!

On swap-related news - I'm supposed to be working day and night on an animation for a presentation on Ttuesday, which inevitably means I'm going to be using this swap as procrastination fodder today! Horray! Hopefully will get the main item finished!

It's a bit rainy and overcast here this morning, so I've taken advantage of the perfect weather and have been doing some rather inspired crafting!

Some things are beautiful simply because they are so useful and become relied upon.  This is my 11-in-1 Painters' Tool.  I don't use it for all 11 of it's reported uses, but I use it for at least 8 all the time or at least more than once.  Wink

1. Opening paint cans
2. Closing paint cans
3. Scraping caulk, etc. off surfaces
4. Pre-cleaning paint rollers
5. Philips head screw installation and removal
6. Flat head screw installation and removal
7. Nail removal
8. Getting old whatever out of cracks

I was thrilled to get a 5-in-one painters tool of my own...we've been repainting our family home for, um, ten years.  No, twelve.  Started when I was sixteen.  And here's the house, so you can see why it's taking so long: http://www.adirondackbyowner.com/5167.html
But an 11-in-one!  That's really something.  And it is indeed a beauty.

Okay, okay!  I admit it!  I've used that hook to open a bottle of beer one time!  No more than two!  Three tops!  Never, ever on the job, though.  Seriously.

I'm still alive and kicking!

Swap wise I am working on prototypes of one of my projects and still brain storming some others, but not to worry. I work well under pressure
