this is the first quilt i've made with any sort of coordination, usually they consist of whatever i have thats on my fabric shelf and if it doesn't match well so what. but mom wanted a new bedspread so this is what i made her. i know the pics are horrible and bad angles but best i could do on a quick pass threw before heading home from moms

my sis wanted a couch blanket, but with specifications. larger than a throw but smaller than a twin, uber warm, and funky bright. so i made her bettyboop peiced quilt with hot pink borders. the warm part i was stuck on for a bit untill i found a huge lot of carded wool at a yard sale for $5 *score* and used that for my batting. my mother being the clean freak that she is tossed it in the wash cause the cat shed all over it. well here is what it looks like now! lol. not bad for unintentional shrinkage

yes it is smaller than an average crib blanket now!!

Well your mom just invented quilt scrunchies! Its perfect for the kitty now and just her size. It's great that you are such a trooper about it shrinking. I love your quilt.
