Sorry about being so absent this round everyone. After the break-in I've just been so busy trying to get everything put back together and caught up. And now today I just found out that my Grandmother has passed away on my father's side. So, I'm getting ready to take off and rent a car to drive to my Dad's house in Alabama and then drive him and my step-mom the rest of the way to Wabash, IN. He can't drive because of the accident with his leg still. Well, there's hubby to take me to the car rental place so got to run off already. I'll eventually be back to spend my points and maybe open a shop.

That is so pretty, mimiw! That is major motivation for me to start gathering up my fabrics for you!

I just added two more new yarns in addition to the ones I added last night, to make four from my weekend dyeing extravaganza with the Wilton's. I love the colors I can get!

I have two more skeins of Paton's that I will take custom orders for (I can do them both in the same dyelot if you choose), and soon I'll have oodles of roving to dye.

Aw Christina - sorry to hear that; I hope all goes as well as possible.

Gosh - Alabama to Illinois is quite a drive - hope the roads are clear for you, and you get a good hire car.

Christina,
So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Mine passed away this summer and we were very close. I hope you have a safe drive.
(BTW- I think you posted your message at the same time I was writing my last message...otherwise I wouldn't have been so insensitive to brush over your sad news with more swap chatter)

Hey...I am just throwing out an idea to see what y'all think. I have some flannel fabric I've been wanting to make pj pants out of for a while but just haven't had time (making pj pant inevitably turns into an ordeal for me because I always end up doing something wrong). Would anyone be interested in doing a custom make if I sent the fabric? And what would be the pointage for that? It seems that 2 points is the going rate for a pair of pj pants, but if the fabric is provided then that should reduce the price. But I don't know if anyone would want to do it for one point. Maybe for someone who sews fast, it would be worth it. Any thoughts on the subject?

I'd be willing to do it for 1 point if you throw in the elastic for the waistband.

Sorry I've been scarce, it was a crazy busy weekend around here!

Thanks!  I try and use all my scraps from purses, etc for "fun" stuff like this...I think I hit a low point the other day when I went to the fabric store to buy fabric to MAKE scraps  Grin

Hey, Klum78 and I have already worked out a trade for this, but thanks for the offer. I actually have some more flannel for another pair so I may still take you up on it. I'd happily throw in the elastic.
