Date to send item by: 2/12/08

- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES

Details of swap:
You will be crafting an item based on a pattern for your partner. It can be from the internet or one you have, sewing, crochet, knitting, or any other craft. You have to craft at least 1 large item. You will communicate with your partner as with any other swap on deciding.
(Example: Say Sue was Janes partner. Jane knows how to crochet and wants to learn how to sew and Sue knows how to sew and wants to learn how to crochet. So, Jane will crochet an item for Sue and send the pattern and the item with maybe a crochet hook and some yarn, so Sue can make one herself. And vice versa)

Sending: You will send the item and the pattern, and maybe a little starter kit so your partner can try (I.e. for a crocheted item you might want to send a hook and some yarn to get your partner started).

oooh this sounds fantastic, especially since I'm still a little new to this. I can totally take this!

Curious, does a scarf constitute as a large or medium item? does it depend on the skill level and the detail of the project?

I think that I might just join this :]

Probably a scarf is a large, you will take quite a bit of time. No, it doesn't depend on skill level or detail. That's what is so fun with swaps, it doesn't matter what your skill level is. You also can learn quite a bit as you craft for someone, and improve your skills.

I know, but I think it has a lot to do with so many going on right now.

All who sent PMs are all added.
