Oh I would love to do this one, but it seems like a lot of work!  I do have concerns about photographs... I haven't printed out a picture (or had them developed) in years!  They're all just on the computer.  How much does it typically run to bring a flash card somewhere (I wouldn't even know where to go!) and have them printed out?

your average digital photograph costs less than 30 cents. and you can typically get them printed at any major grocery store- king sooper, target, wal-mart, meijer...

If you can't get it printed out or developed for whatever reason, if you can burn cds just do that. But I would also suggest http://www.shutterfly.com/ it's relatively inexpensive, they usually give you free prints when u first sign up and you just pay for shipping and shipping time even on the regular basic shipping doesn't take more than a week to arrive. Ive personally ordered from them and their prints are very good quality.

I think I'll edit the original post and put some of that information on there to give people some options. Smiley

This sounds really fun. I've been in two swaps and I hate losing touch with the swappers. As someone earlier mentioned, sometimes you just need a swap with a "a little more".

Also, would this count as 1 swap in our line-up, or 2? Because I'm hoping to do the Reading Rainbow (hi PandaShrew!) and Supernatural swap. I know thats only an additional two but I don't want to get bogged down and disappoint partners. However... this one does have long intervals between send-out dates.  Undecided

It'll just count as one. This is NOT an ongoing swap with several rounds. If I redid signups every month, then it would count as more than one.

On that note, this swap probably isn't good for complete newbies because if it's the first swap, they wont be able to join any other swaps for three months.

so for the show and tell part, do we actually buy those items and send them in a package to the person? or do we just tell them what our favs are and why?

You actually have to buy those items, but they can be small things like your favorite candy bar, or a skein of your favorite type of yarn.

and do we have to include all of those things you made a list of or do we pick and choose and discuss it with our partner?
