Ok - we just hit our 15th geezer - so everyone take your geritol, soak those dentures, and I heard Racky is pouring the cosmos....
Cosmos! I knew this was the right group. *runs off to start the blender in case anyone would prefer a margarita*

Mixing a drink is creative! Cooking is a craft! It counts!! As long as you have the blender going I'd like a pina colada Smiley

Why does all this make me think we will wind up with some a lot of adult beverage themed goodies?

Why does all this make me think we will wind up with some a lot of adult beverage themed goodies?

What makes it even funnier (at least to me) is that i'm essentially a non-drinker... i'm not very big, and 1 drink is enough to make me legally intoxicated.... so i don't bother

I can go one better than that....I don't get drunk at all!
I'm missing the enzyme that breaks down alcohol...so all I get is a nasty burning rash Cry
We're visiting my in-laws tomorrow so I could really use a drink! Tongue

Oh my Goddess, I am so totally in the right swap, there are some very very cool craftionistas here and cocktails.

Setting out blender to make my current favourite (and its slightly patriotic) 'The Nutty Irishman' equal parts baileys Irish cream and frangelico, blended with an equivalent amount of full cream milk and a ton of ice, until you get a creamy nutty slushy concoction, which is just fabulous....

for those of you who are a little chilly, heat a cup of apple juice, when steaming, pour on a double measure of Pimms winter cup (if you can get it, I cant get it here in the republic of Ireland, I have to have friends bring it from Belfast) and then over the top float about a 1/2 measure of sloe gin. Perfect warming alcoholic brew.

Cocktail making is totally a craft!

dragonflyducky, that is really tragic, especially when visiting your inlaws. Poor you, I fortunately divorced mine

So how old is everone here? Old enough for gin sodden reminiscences about our mis-spent youth, old enough to kick up our heels and plan far more outrageous adventures. I am 40...(plenty old enough to have lots of stories and young enough to plan to have many more!)
