So this isn't exactly a knitting project, but I figured this was a good place to stick it.
My yarn stash has gotten completely out of control.  I keep my yarn in a big basket, but it was getting ridiculously tangled and spilling onto the floor.
My boyfriend gave me an old Coca-Cola crate he had in his basement, and ta-da! I now have a "yarn cozy" for all my leftover balls!  Now I can find that odd ball of pink yarn without having to dump out the entire basket.

that's such a good idea!!!!! makes me wish i could put holes in my walls. . ..

were the dividers in the crate already or did you make them yourself?

the dividers were already there.  i think it held individual coke bottles at one time.

Seriously - it's like a piece of art! It's great! And you can swap the yarn around whenever you want to create a different artistic look -- you could do all shades of blue, or "stripes" of blue and green, or... man, I gotta' make one of these! Great idea!!

Ooooh man.  I absolutly need one of these...It really is quite artistic...considered making them and takin them to a knittin' cafe shop???  I would!  It is absolutly lovely!
