Well, I really love the sweater, but knitting it was so extremely easy that I had to knit other stuff at the same time, just to be able to finish it. I highly recommend this project for beginners who want to venture away from scarves  Cheesy
I used Patons Classic Merino and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. In my opinion, it works just as well as the more expensive cascade 220. Blocked beautifully, too. Yey saving money  Grin!

And this I knit to keep my sanity:

It's a shorter version of the Ariel scarf, which can be found here

Thanks for looking  Wink

Yes, the sweater is absolutely lovely. I've been kind of on the fence about it for a while, but you definitely pulled it off! Great job!

The top looks gorgeous!! You did a nice job! I really like the color of it. I think the cabling looks great on the scarf. I've never tried cabling before....So you used Patons for the top? How much yarn did you use?

Since I joined old and new balls by felting, I made the sweater with a little over 3.5 balls  Grin ... No weaving ends in, either!
