Before :

After :

I turned a LYNYRD SKYNYRD shirt into this super feminine hoodie, using gray/glittered blue striped jersey for the extra long sleeves (with super wide black cuffs!), for the waistband and for the hood - I used the original sleeves to make the lovely flutter sleeves you can see - I added black D-ring tape, black grommet tape and black ribbon on the hood!

Before :

After :

I made this long sleeved top out of a cute THREADLESS "City Lights" shirt - I used khaki/gold striped jersey for the long sleeves, for the yoke part and for the cowl, and black ruffled trim - I added a black button - It looks like a short sleeved shirt layered over a long sleeved top, but it's only in one piece! :-)

No before picture, but imagine a REALLY baggy shirt.
Making a girly top out of this thing was a kind of challenge ;-)
I used black and white polka dots lycra - I gave it princess seams, 2 pockets (w/ black lace) and puff sleeves - To make it even more feminine, I added a huge (removable) bow!

Thanks for reading & happy new year! :-)

I love your stuff especially the hoodie vest. I'm pretty new to sewing and you seem really good at it. Where did you learn? Could you recommend any books, websites etc. you may have used that were helpful? Thanks.
