Yess..Crafting Japanese, its called. Anime crafts? Well, I thought of a cute idea the other day...you could make charms or keychains out of sourdough and bake them and paint them!
Shirts, Bags...You can draw fanart, and you can make your own manga! That would be fun!

i suck at drawing but my friend's really talented.
but she got mad at me and quit drawing for me.
i was thinking about finding an animal character i really liked and making a fleece hat?
i'd need my mom's help, but it'd probably be worth it.

Here's something that I helped a friend make for Valentine's Day:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79186.msg743559#msg743559

He and his wife belong to an Anime Club at the college I work at.  I just took the Shrine idea here and made it a little bigger!  I used one of the really nice AOL boxes that they sent out.  She keeps it on her dresser, I think.  She also said it was the best Valentine's gift that she's ever gotten!!LOL

The forums at http://www.cosplay.com have some great tips for making costumes of anime characters, as well as the accessories to go with. (come on, admit it - we all want a Leaf Village headband or Sakura's Clow Key Wink )  Personally, I'm cross-stitching/stenciling the Konoha leaf onto anything that stays still long enough (the cat's getting very worried about the green styling gel I bought Wink), and of course still looking for plain white gloves without the (expletive deleted) points, so I can embroider/stencil them to look like Alucard's.

ohhman. i just stopped playing dress up (i'm 16, my costumes were too small and my parents were a little freaked out. my 9 year old sister stopped dressing up a few years ago. ><), but i've been jealous of some of those costumes. Cheesy
