great idea!
I made the same with water plastic bottle fulled with local water, I had bottle from greece,germany,england,spain,belgium,slovaquie (don't now the english word sorry),italia and from dominican republic

Do you want some french toothpaste ?

Have you taken any measure to make sure they don't start to grow, spill or otherwise self destruct?

I love the last arrangement you showed with the single tube of toothpaste at the bottom. Putting them in shadowboxes makes them look so special! Thanks for sharing. Smiley

Good question.  Actually I usually use the toothpaste all up, in person you can see just how hard I tried to use every last bit.  At first I sliced open the back and washed them out, but then I had a metal tube and after I used it up, it sat in the closet for years while I figured out what to do with it.  And you know what... it never changed.   The mouth of the tube was clean, so there was no change in texture or smell.  No mold, no separation, nothing.  If one needed encouragement not to actually eat toothpaste, knowing this might be it... it's like minty, pasty Twinkies.  [shiver]
