ellen and i went and, well, it was decent.  the best part was that in addition to the craft festival, the fairgrounds was also hosting a gun festival.  there was a man selling ammo boxes out of the back of his truck!  omg, it was rad!

tina- did you see the booth that had the scarfs made like in your japanese book? (the ones with the interfacing i think?)  ellen and i are super jazzed on those now.  can you bring your book again to the next meeting?

i totally saw that booth, denise! i ended up getting a "packet" of ribbons and made one THAT night! i will have to show you girls and i'll definitely bring the book next time i see you all. it was really easy to make and i found a cheaper way of doing it also. the book recommends a certain sticky paper to do it and it's much more expensive than the way i ended up doing it. anyway, more on that later. hope you all in az are doing well!

i meant stabilizer, not interfacing!  doh!  (you can tell i don't know anything about sewing)

tina=> that would be so awesome if you could teach us!  those scarfs are beautiful.  did you post the finished project anywhere on craftster?  i'd love to see it.
