Hey everyone,
I hope you can help me. I am trying to find a free pattern online (or even if someone just knows the method) for making a crocheted bead. Now let me clarify, I dont want to crochet with beads... I want to make a bead out of crochet. Whenever I try to search online all I get are articles on crocheting with beads.

Please let me know if you know how to do this or at least what I mean. If you know a method even, then I would be able to figure it out.

I have a tutorial that I got online, somewhere (can't find where) - but I saved it to a word document.

I got that book at B&N, but I ended up returning it, 'coz it sucks... They have it in most B&N's that I've been to right on the shelf, if you want to take a look, though.

There's a wooden or similar bead inside the crocheted part, so you crochet around a bead. Like making an amigurumi head, except instead of stuffing it at the end, you put a bead a little past the halfway point, and keep on crocheting until it's closed.

This link might be helpful.  The book is about buttons, but perhaps the techniques will help, and some of the buttons are round balls...

That's a neat find! Much better than that crochet jewelry book. And I love bullion stitch!
