I can't stand boring white walls, but I didn't want to paint every wall since we have to cover it up when I leave this apartment. So one green wall would have to suffice. I'm crazy thrifty, so paint was cheaper than a headboard. I googled antique headboards for inspiration and came up with this design myself. I sewed the curtains and hung them from the cheapest curtain rods I could find. The curtain rods are hung on the ceiling from little screw-in hooks painted white.

I have to give credit for the nightstands too, they were actually made by a friend of my dads, so props to him for being an amazing woodworker.
