Hi guys,
I've admired you all from a far for some time now and now I'm feeling gutsy so I thought I'd jump in and show some of my creations.






(made from a vintage pocket watch face)

wow, those are awesome! i especially like the tree. i'm curious, what materials are they made from?

The first one is made from vintage earrings...kind of a celtic pattern. I cut it up to form the top half of the tree. The trunk is made from a vintage tin button that reminded me of tree bark...that's what inspired the whole piece.
The second is made from vintage pocket watch gears. I formed the rest from various scrap metals and drilled the holes and added the stone.
The last is a vintage pocket watch face, a cabochon, and the peace sign comes from a pair of earrings my sister use to own...the earrings are atleast 15 years old.

yeah, the celtic knotwork was what first drew my attention to the tree. quite spiffy, indeed! so, are you a metalsmith?
