My mum likes knitted dishclothes.  When I was making them for myself, she told me she would always be happy to have some.  I know this may sound like a rubbish present, but I did offer her a jumper of her choice!!!  After seeing the baby sock bouquets, and a crocheted cupcake scarf on here, I decided that the dishclothes would look fab done up like roses in a bouquet.  And she loved it!

The dishclothes are just basic garter stitch, and they have wire wrapped around the bottom to keep them rolled.  They are mounted on ash twigs.  There are a 1/2 dozen dishclothes, and four twigs of holly from the lane near my house to set them off.  I was going to buy some artificial flowers but a) I could find any nice ones for a reasonable price b) I think the holly works fine.

I hope you like it - thanks for looking!  Cheesy

ha ha
that's so clever and adorable! and at first glance i really thought they were roses and wondered how someone could 'craft' them   Roll Eyes

my mom loves knitted dishcloths, too. i've made her about 15 so far, but 5 of them were a mother's day gift and went over quite well. my sister is now addicted and to crochet rings for the towels (to keep them on oven handle).  this would be a great way to present them for the new ones i make this year!

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

Thanks for all the lovely comments - my mum loves it and even my brother was impressed!  The only downside is that she will have to dismantle it to use them
lol!
