Personally, on the matter of 3-d elements, I would LOVE them. I saw some fabric ones that had to be seriously close to an inch thick and they were sooo cool. So yeah, count me in on some of those  Grin.

Thanks for all the pokes rackycoo and babetto - I really am having a ball working on my inchies!

I wasn't going to repeat any of the inchies - but I'm going to have to - some of them would just fit several different people too well!

I am officially addicted.....

I'm going to add support to the general consensus: 3-D elements would be awesome!

Speaking of which, I haven't done any paper crafts in a while, what would be a good glue to use for this project?  (assuming lots of layers of paper, maybe fabric, maybe mulberry paper?) With my luck I will use something way too thick and chunky or something that won't stick and it falls apart.

I like Modge Podge for lots of layers.  It's thin but can be layered for a thicker look (something I'll probably do on top of my cards), and it dries totally clear.

I wish I didn't have work to do today - I want to play with inchies!

I hope that 3D is the acceptable thing because that's what I was planning.  I may do a few more Archie ones just for fun but the majority of mine are going to be fabric inchies with ribbon, buttons and beads.

Thanks for posting some background, Alli_Lucy; I love what you have so far!

I can't believe how many people have signed up for this. We have room for three more, and then we're full.  Shocked Seriously, I thought I'd have to do some major arm twisting to get enough people to join!

If we get those last three, I'll be splitting us all into three groups of 10, so I won't need anyone sending to more than the nine people. I'll most likely hold a second round, though, for those of us (like me!) who need 100.

Oh, and 3D is cool with me too. I'm not sure I'd want one that's as large as an inch thick, but a little dimension is always good.  Smiley

I just sent in my questionnaire, hope it gets there for one of the last three spots. This sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Going to start my backgrounds today, I hope. I've got ideas for some of them already.

I'm cleaning out crafty stuff tonight to see what I can use from my stash. I have so many ideas but I never thought the smallness would be so challanging.
