Knit this for my husband for xmas.  Started it in Oct working only on my lunch hours so that it was a surprise.  Used the season 12 pattern from http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/ and matched the colours as best I could.  I'm not sure what I did wrong but it only came out to 9ft in the end.  All for the best as its more likely to get worn at this lenght.  And I'm glad to say the husband was very pleased =)

You did an awesome job with this one--I was just thinking about knitting the Doctor's scarf!  Then I remembered that I hate knitting scarves and would probably die if I tried to knit a super long one because doing the same stitch millions of times is so boring XD.

That's a great-looking scarf! Smiley

I've knitted a Doctor Who scarf for my husband (in various shades of blue since that's his favorite color).  A word of caution, though: tell your husband to make sure the scarf is completely inside the car whenever he gets into one.  My husband was nearly strangled when one end of his scarf got wrapped around our car's rear tire while he was driving down the interstate.  We had a good scare, but fortunately he is ok (and now refuses to wear the scarf Sad ).
