i hit "this rocks!" because it looked like it was taken directly from Dr Suess books, amazingly well done and you've got one lucky little boy ^_^

Don't you hate it when people fill up their signature with random junk you could care less about reading but when you see how long it is you figure it has to be important so you keep reading but it's not worth your time and you just wasted a whole minute reading absolutely nothing at all? I do.

The characters are taken from a few books.

I used a projector (the theatre kind), and put the images on the walls.  Unless you leave the projector there, and paint one color at a time, with drying time in between, it would take months.  BUT, since my fiancee and I are pretty good at freehand, we kind of just traced the images (sorta!), and did all the details ourselves.  Actually, I did most of them since he was too nervous to do most of the characters.  Even though I say we used a projector, it only helped for the outer edge and placement on the wall.  Other than that, it was not too easy, nor too hard.  It did take us a lot of weekends, especially since i was more than 50% into my pregnancy when we started.  I recommend it to anyone.  I just scanned the images in, and hooked the projector up to my laptop.  I absolutely love the room and will miss it when we sell the house in a couple of years.

I definitely want to thank everyone for their kindness.  I have gotten so many compliments (electronic and in person) that I just can't believe it!  It's hard to believe I could do something so good.  You would think I've done this a million times.  I wish I could invite everyone over to see it, since everyone that has states it is 10x better in person. I don't know, I've always seen it in person.  he he

Thank you and please remember, its only as hard as you think it will be!

Very cool. I'm in the middle of painting a Lorax mural on the side of my garage. If I ever get it finished, I'll post pictures, but somehow winter sneaked up on me before I got done with it.

This is like the coolest thing I've ever seen! You're son is so lucky. The only thing you're missing is the brown barbaloots in there barbaloot suits. I love it. Great Job!

Amazing job!  It's possible I stumbled on you photos earlier when I was surfing online for inspiration for my daughter's dr. suess nursery.  It looks familiar (and not just because I love the characters.)

I am now inspired to post photos of my nursery along the same lines.  More "one fish two fish, and done on canvases because I knew we would be moving.  Thanks for the inspiration(s).
