Since we've switched uniforms at work from BDU's to ACU's I've got plenty of camoflauge fabric lying around. They are taking up space so I decided that I will start recycling them. So far, I've made my dad an apron (I will post pics once I find them) and this is my second project. I also am in the process of making a messenger bag for my son, I've found several projects on here for inspiration. I made this laptop sleeve for my hubby, he's been wanting one for a while but we just don't have the money for a new one. I used the back of a medium bdu top and used one of the pockets and buttons; everything came from the 1 top. I lined it with fleece. Anyway, here's the sleeve for his Mac:

Hmmm, I have been thinking of reconning my old DCU's, but I don't know if I could look at more camo around the house!   Cheesy

You did a great job!

What an awesome idea. I'll have to make one up for my best friend in the AF. Now to subversively attempt to figure out the measurements of his laptop......  Roll Eyes

looks great.  My daughter wants me to make her one.  I'll keep yours in mind for an example .  Again, it is really nice.
