I sugest lining by hand if you can stand it. However if you line with your machine here's somethings I've learned:

  • Take into consideration the thickness of the lining and the yarn put together. My machine nearly died when I tried to sew my lining in becasue I used a super bulky yarn! (don't tell my hubby though)
  • Set your machine to the longest Straight stitch possible. This makes it easier to take it out if you make a mistake.
  • Use a thread for machine sewing.
  • Put the item in the machine fabric side down not crocheted side down. My Machine had trouble "feeding" the crochet through.
