I made this for my grandma for Christmas. She recently remodeled her guest bathroom (by herself ... she's so badass), so I wanted to make her something that she could put in there. I haven't lived with her in over three years, but when I did, that bathroom was mine. She lives four hours away, but since I know the bathroom (and her tastes) well, I figured I could make something. She kept the original tile in the shower, so I tried to match the color of the box to the trim tile by memory. When she unwrapped it, I checked ... it matched, perfectly. I was pretty proud of myself, hehe.

Anyway, she likes cameo jewelry a lot. Her house is pretty much mixed styles, but it all says cozy and chic. She likes antique and country style things.

So, here it is.

So easy. Felt and a dollar store shadowbox with a couple coats of paint.

Very Pretty - I love cameos.  It sounds like your grandmother has great taste!

Great idea, I am going to try to do a cameo pillow for my sis (birthday coming up, egad!).  But a shadowbox would be a lot simpler . . .
