I made this awesome box for my little cousin for christmas by using this tut:

and combining another box i think i saw in a swap gallery. it took forever!!! but i think he really liked it.



as you can see the first shroom was a little off (side piece). i made the chart wrong so i had to recount the squares but i still used the messed up piece. Let me know what you guys think!

I just made one of these in perler beads.... I never thought to needlepoint it, looks great.

I do a lot of plastic canvas projects.  I'm glad to see that it is included here.  Plastic canvas can be used for lots of things.  I make ornaments, tissue boxes, etc..  The box you made for your cousin came out terrific.  You should be very proud of it.
