i sewed this bunny for my sister as a christmas present.  unfortunately, i forgot to take pics before i sent it off to her, since i was so excited that i had finished it on time...  anyway, she posted pics of it on her myspace, so now i can post pics of it here!  yay!  it was inspired by this pattern: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=160793.0 but it turned out more tall and skinny, and then the eyes i had were too small, so i took inspiration from this local crafter http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=16046 and put small circles of fabric over the eyes to make like eyelids.  so once i did that, it started looking more creepy than cute, so i went whole hog and gave it a domokun mouth (at the insistence of my hubby).  you can't really see the eyes in these pictures, but you get the idea, right?

Domo Kun may look ferocious but he is really a very nice lad.  He sells cable television and drinks tea.

my sis did the little "swallow your soul" pic.  perhaps this is domo-kun's less friendly bunny love child?  you know how angry inter-species love children are...  well, maybe not, if you remember the wuzzles!  they were all pretty happy, considering they were such odd combinations as bee/lion, and hippo/bunny...  damn that show was weird.
