thread jamming. please help!

I just purchased my own sewing machine this afternoon. It's a Shark #7133. It was sewing fine for quite a while, but now my thread is consistantly jamming. It has gotten to the point where it won't sew at all, it just jams.
I pulled the bobbin out and rethreaded the needle and everything. It all seemed perfectly normal to me. Still, all it's doing is immediately jamming. I have no idea what to do.

are you just doing a regular stitch? have you tried adjusting your tension?

nah thats alright, sometimes you need people to help you point out the obvious-i've had the same problem happen to me b/f so don't feel bad. did it work btw?
