Tutorial: Camera Cozy

Patronizing!? No way! I love detailed tutorials , makes things much easier.  The cozy is soo cute (especially the polka dots!!) and useful I just have to put it on my list! I've never sewn with fleece before though, hopefully its not too much of a pain

ok, i have some kind of problem with camera cozies because i already tried to make myself two of them and let's just say they didn't came out good. i'm going to try your tutorial tomorrow and i really hope it works. it looks easy and you explained it pretty good, so i hope i don't mess up this time. thanks a lot for taking your time and doing this tutorial. i hope my camera cozy turns out as cute as yours.

Aw! Glad you all like it! It's a great little project to sew up in an hour or so. Also works for leftover fabric bits.

I am just getting back into sewing after 15 years (and back then, I was in high school so I couldn't have been that good anyway). I made the cozy today and it took me way longer than it should have. I kept getting confused by the turning inside and out and which sides were the "right" sides. It turned out okay, but isn't beautiful. I used a snap instead of a button because I didnt have any ribbon.

My stitching isn't that great either but it'll get better with practice, hopefully.

Are you kidding? I think it looks great! Trust me, I am not the best stitcher out there either!

Aw, thanks! My hubby said that it does what it's supposed to do and that's all the matters! Haha. It matters to me what it looks like. But I guess it's not too shabby for just starting out.

I just made this today for my new smartphone, and it is great! Thank you so much for demystifying the process. I used Velcro and added a pocket -turned out on the back, though I planned for the front. Oops. But thank you so much for posting this!
