Wow! Esjay, that looks fabulous! I really like how the colors complement each other, and the way that you used the colors makes each square stand out, yet blend together to make a gorgeous blanket. Nicely done!

Finally A decent picture.



I was worried that I couldn't pull all the colours together and it would just look a mess, but I love it. I used black yarn and a technique that maybe recognised or not: holding two squares together, I dc into one square and then into the next and back to the first all the way along the edge to join. I also used a thread of balck and maroon and did a row of dc all round the edge.
