i like the september square too! it looks interesting! i havent quite finished my august squares yet tho!!! and i dont see anytime in the next 2 weeks where i will be able to! but we'll see.

What have people get as a count for each side on outside round 1? Is it 16 sc per side, with the 2 ch-sp in the corner? Im just getting a little confused. Smiley

I found it confusing as well.  I had 16 on two sides and 17 on the other two.  I compensated by ignoring the exact letter of the pattern.  When I came to round 2, I just made sure that I had the same number of shells and dc on each side, even if it meant only skipping 1dc instead of the recommended 2.
