zombiecazz, I know this is late but what is the pattern you used for the filler? The one with the brown, creme and blue? It looks so delicate.

It's Esther's Square. I found it quite a straight forward square to do. Apart fromthe first round, that took me two attempts. Embarrassed

I'm impressed by people making more than one afghan.  I barely have the attention span to do each square once.  Here's my April square, continuing my red & white theme.  A little wonky but not as bad as I worried.  An odd pattern, yes?  I probably should have used yelley's mods.

Ok, this might sound like a really stupid question, but I need *more* clarification on this square... On round 5 - there is no trc? only sc's? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Mienna, I was just now coming to post about that round 5 - we have good timing!  Grin

So I got started on the April square last night and Round 5 seemed all kinds of complicated to me. I finally figured out that it was actually an extremely simple round, I just wasnt getting it for a while. Basically, you just sc in each stitch and each space all the way around, except that the middle tr in each fan (i.e. the corner) gets 3 sc.

Aha! That's what I was thinking, I started doing it once and I was doing trc's and it looked all kind of wonky (that's my technical term for the day). Awesome!
