Well, with no job and major stress in my life right now, this is a good way to keep my hands busy.

I agree, this is a fabulous way to complete holiday gifts without that last minute rush!! I already planned to make one for my mom in red and blue, but now I am planning to make one for my mother in law in purple shades. So, if I knock out about 4 squares each month (2 for each of them), then both of their gifts should be taken care of.

Can't wait until February!  Cheesy

Wow GumInMyHair.  They are amazing.  The way you used the different yarns together.

Btw everyone, after all the disappearing pattern pages,  I found a site that lets you convert a web page to pdf.  Since I like to save patterns for my own personal use, this let me save the files a little more neatly

Besides, the Marlo's Crochet Corner's January Sampler Square #1 reads better as a pdf after it's converted.

Wow, LovieDovieAnn.  I really like the square in that yellow/gold color.  You're making me wish I was doing mine in yellow.  I'm almost done with my square.  I wish I had more free time!

It's actually neon orange, but I couldn't get a good pic that showed the color. haha

It's gonna be part of a blanket for my mom's birthday at the end of Feb. She'll need a football blanket for when my sis hits marching band next year and their school colors are black and orange.  Grin
