mochaxlight - those are terrific, love them! I sadly am like CraftADDchick - mine have been put aside, I really need to get it completed!

I am like fantasticmio - I leave a long tail and weave it in and make sure I go in two directions and that seems to hold them so there is not any unraveling.

I just this very second finished weaving in the ends on my last square.  Yay!  I was going to start joining them right away, but I can't decide what method to use.  I generally just sc or whipstitch through the back loops, but I wanted to use my contrasting colour to join everything, so I thought a fancier, more visible join would look better.  I like the looks of the flat braid method, but the directions don't make any sense to me.  Same with the dudessembly directions.  Perhaps I just need more sleep before my attempt, but I'm not usually this dense about crochet.  Oh well.  I'm excited about being almost finished though.

Can't wait to see it! I'm still plugging away on mine. I think I have 4 blocks left...

And, I think I'm going to attempt the flat braid join on my 2009 blocks. It looks pretty nice and someone (OnePinkHippo, maybe) said it was fairly easy to make adjustments if the blocks didn't all have the same number of stitches on the outside edge.

I haven't really checked out the DudeAssembly. Joining scares me, so I didn't want to overwhelm myself with choices Wink

Only two years late, but here's my finished lapghan - joined and bordered and DONE.  Yay!

Now on to 2009.

It looks great, sunspotted! And, you're still ahead of me! I haven't touched it to finish up my last blocks. But I should do it soon before my neighbor sells her house and moves!

Thanks everybody.  I like it and I've found it a home I think.  While I love the colours, it doesn't really go in my house.
