Gorgeous, Sorcha! I love all the colors.

Thanks!:)  It's pretty big right now, but I'm thinking it's going to be a giant by the end.  And it's got a bit of weight to it.  I joked that it's going to weight more than my 5 month old does now when it's finished, lol (13 lbs 6oz...she's petite).  I need to find a substitute for this months square.  I have to remember, I have been instructed NO MORE PINK, lol.  My aunt thought the black squares would be the problem when it came to spacing them out.  Nope.  Pink snuck in and took over.

Sorcha, your blanket is looking great!! You have spaced the squares really well, and balanced everything out nicely. I agree about the weight! I haven't joined mine together at all yet, but the bag I am keeping them all in is getting really heavy!!

I'm behind, I've done only couple of squares yet. My mum is crocheting these squares too, here's two blanket's she's made using this year's and last year's squares. She has also dyed the yarns herself.

Sorcha! Your blocks look great together! It's amazing how such disparate squares look so unified when you put them all together.

And, heini, your mum's blankets are gorgeous! I just love the colors- they give the blankets a very soft look!

Happy belated 4th of July to all the U.S. folks!

Predictably, with the holiday and this month's choice of pattern, I did it in red, white & blue.  Original, I know  Wink

Anyways, here it is!

Lovely square jennbrad.

Heni-I love those colors.

Thanks all.  I was surprised that they all kinda look good together, lol...  I finished another square, the Pinwheel square by Chris Simon.  It's a nice square, but doesn't picture well at all, Smiley.

Wow, Sorcha ! I love your blanket, with the white edging and colors it reminded me of paintings on an art gallery wall!

And heini! Your mother's squares are so beautifully colored and crafted, they're just GORGEOUS!

I love Jennbrad's July square too - it's adorable!
