Ok, So i'm a little of dufus! I've had this pattern on Word for the longest time and forgot to post it on my blog (even after several pattern requests)! lol. So, here she be!

Sometimes, when its cold out, you just want to wear something that will cover most of your fingers while you hold your steamy cup of coffee on-the-go. Snuggles (fingerless gloves) was inspired by the use of cables and ribbing in Knittys Fetching from Summer 2006, but improved in length and in adding the fingerless glove part to fit the needs of people (or should I say knitters) needing a little more pizzazz in their winter ensemble and future project. These FOs are sure to please and conjure envy from all your friends.

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.

these are great, thanks for the pattern!

knit~it~good, you can actually use a regular DPN for a cable needle, if you're super careful with it.  also, there's a great tutorial here for cabling without a cable needle.

Just started this last night and i'm stuck:(

--Use the first 4 sts. from the first needle and 5 sts from the last needle; make 3 stitches from the gap in between the two needles. Each of the three dpns should have 4 sts now. The rest of the stitches can go on stitch holders.

I'm not sure what you mean by "make 3 stitches from the gap in between the 2 needles". I'm assuming I increase 3 stitches but then it says that each of the 3 dpns (but I just added a 4th per the directions) should have 4 sts. They originally had 10, 10,10 and 9...where did I lose the other stitches if I've increased? I'm sorry. I guess I'm just not very slick with patterns:(

It says that the rest of the stitches go on stitch holders, so I assume you put all but 4 sts from each needle on separate stitch holders?
