I promised I'd make one of my kids at work a hat. Of course now its my vacation and I have no idea how big an 8 year olds head is!!
Anyone know or willing to take a guess? I was thinking maybe 16 inches?

An average 9-month old's head is 18 in.  Definitely think 20-22 inch range.

I just measured my 6 yr old and my 8 yr old for hats...they're both 24 inches.
