my very first beaded ornament.
I used cheapo beads in case I didn't like how it turned out (or I got frustrated and threw the whole thing in the garbage).  I think it will look classier with many less colors.  Though I do like the funkiness of the rainbow beads.
My beading turned out a little long for my ornament, so when closed it gave my poor ornament a saggy bottom.

I snipped the bottom thread and let the ends dangle.  I like how it looks.

sorry for large images Wink

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

Thanks so much!   Cheesy
They weren't hard to make, just time consuming and so... many... beads!
I actually thought I was going to run out of beads before I finished.  I was so pleased with the outcome (or, rather, the fact that it didn't look like it had been made by my 2 yr old) I think I am going to make many more!

Here's another.  I like this one better, I think (though I did make a mistake that keeps me from closing the bottom around the ornament)

Instead of starting a new topic, I'll just add this here.  This is the one i made last night.

I was going to add dangles, but decided I didn't like them, so I cut them off.
