I saw someone do this in a gallery. They took beer caps and made a outline of a guitar, it was so cool! It wasn't that great if I might admit but it was the idea!

I was cleaning out my magazine stash and found a variation on this one - Spring 2004 Do it Yourself has an umbrella base/drink holder made out of  a 20 inch plastic pot. Fill the pot with rocks, concrete, to make it heavy around a 15" piece of copper tubing. Drill a hole in the pots saucer and place on top of pot. Tile the saucer - they use broken ceramic tile, but I think the beer cap tiles would be much more appropriate!
Do it yourself is definately one magazine worth checking out!

that tabel came out awesome! it would be really kewl to do that with snapple caps and then have the fun facts facing up but a lot of them aren't true so i guess u would have to go on the website first! lol!   great job! i luv it!

Nice job. My brother & his best friend used this same technique to make a WHOLE beer pong table last summer. It is amazing. My brother's friend is in a frat, so it only took a semester or two to get enough beer caps.

The table turned out great!  I'm workingon one of my own, and am a little confused about the step after laying the caps in the grout...  what did you use as a sealer?  and is the table level enough to be a functioning table?

my friends drink alllll the time, so i can always find tons of bottle caps everywhere... and they're getting a new place.
i just might have to make them one as a housewarming gift.
