I found an old sketch of this little guy today and had an irresistible urge to do some non-Christmas crafting. He's made of cotton broadcloth that I painted with acrylics. I wanted him to be kind of lumpy and rough-looking, so I didn't clip the fabric around the curves, didn't fix any paint smudges, added some pencil lines. You can really only see the ones around his eyes in the pictures.

I just had to give him spats.

Comments are always appreciated. Smiley

Love him! You're right - the spats really do finish him off! Cheesy

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

Thanks so much! Cheesy  He still puts a grin on my face every time I look at him. He's so creepy and sickly looking. I think I need to make him some friends now.
And yep, he just wouldn't be the same without the spats.  Grin

He's so cute. He looks like a Tim Burton Humpty Dumpty.
