Well here's my tut to make a two tone kleenex cozy (I still don't have one for myself  Undecided) Cut two pieces of fabric, one 8 inches (it will be the inside fabric and outside strip) the other 6 inches (outside fabric), both by 7 inches. My seam allowance was 1/4 inch. On one end pin right sides together and sew. You can change the deminsions to suit how big you want the outside strip as long as it is about 14 inches total.

Do the same with the other side, sew and then press flat.

Sew down one of the sides all the way and the other side leave an opening in the middle for turning. Turn rightside out and iron flat. I iron the seam allowance in and I don't sew over this because when you fold it, it will get sewn then.

Fold (solid side out) to the middle and over lap slightly, sew down the sides
Turn inside out and fill up with your favorite kleenex!

This is my first tut so be gentle.  Wink

Here is my first one!

I'm excited about this because I made this from a Goodwill find.  I bought 4 large cloth napkins for .99 and this was made from one of them.  Score! 

I just love the pattern of the fabric.

Thank you for the tut!  My daughter wants one now and I'm going to try and use your tute to make hers.

 Cheesy  These are so cute and seem pretty easy to make.  I am tempted to even try to sew one by hand.  We shall see how ambitious I am once I have everything in front of me... Thanks for the tute and the inspiration!

Ok...  I wanted to practice before I actually made one for my daughter using your tut.  I grabbed some fabric out of my scrap bin and to my surprise it turned out great!  I mean your tut. and directions are great!  I was just surprised that I actually did it.   Grin

I will post a pic of my daughters when I get hers done.  Thanks again!
