I really like the miniature zen gardens and I figure mum can use all the calming therapy she can get  Tongue. So I made her one for Christmas.

I picked up two of these white dishes for a couple of dollars at an op shop

Sand from the beach (sifted to remove debris)

I got these rocks from a dollar store for $2 the lot

Random garden stones

Rake made from wire and covered in polymer clay

All together in a paper-covered shoe box with a printed cover and instruction sheet (I used the wording from an online mob who sell mini zen gardens)
Outside lid
Inside lid

It was really easy and as such I left it to the last minute while working on more difficult tasks. It almost wasn't finished in time  Embarrassed. Typical.

Comments welcome
Eve

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.
