I've seen some pictures of felt food online, and I thought I'd try making a few things for my daughter.  And then a few more things.  And so on. . .

I tried to go with stuff she actually eats/would recognize.  Except the bacon--we almost never eat it so I wasn't planning on making it, but I had a little "incident" sewing the crusts on the bread, so they got to become bacon strips instead.  Sooo, clockwise from the bottom we've got:
--Pancakes and the aforementioned bacon. (I was going to put yellow squares of "butter" on them but as she puts it, "I don't like no butter on my pancakes, Mommy.")
--Fruit salad (apple, orange, strawberry)
--An "apple to chomp", as my DD calls whole apples
--Big ol' sandwich (two slices of fluffy bread, nondescript tan blob for lunchmeat, some cheese, lettuce, and a slice of tomato.)
--Chocolate chip cookies
--Cheese quesadilla (not particularly cute, but it's probably the most true-to-life thing I made!  Cheesy)
--Veggies (carrot and fugly peapod. . .or is it just an obese green bean?)

She caught me red-handed with a couple of the pieces--I let her play with them, then snuck them back while she was snoozing. . .I just hope she doesn't spend the next two days asking me, "Where's my pretending apple, Mommy?  Where's my pretending orange?!" Roll Eyes

Great job!  Those all look amazingly realistic.  The quesadilla looks good enough to eat!
Oh, and "an apple to chomp"-  So freaking cute!

I have GOT to start making these for my niece for next year. I wanted to do it for this year, but got caught with too many other projects running too late.

You did a great job. I'm sure they will be enjoyed for a long time to come.  Cheesy
