We just laid the canvases (canvi?! Tongue

) on the floor and freehanded the tree in pencil. Then painted the background and tree with acrylics. Then just hung them up with spaces between them!

It's very minimalistic-cool. I like the amount of space it takes...I was trying to think of something largeish to cover an odd space like a stairwell, and this is a perfect thing, plus not too pricey. Nice job!
