phew!  i dropped off my package at the PO this morning and it should be coming to bluwave06 shortly.

it was so much fun doing this, but i must admit its quite a relief to be finished!  i made a classic rookie mistake and thought i could craft faster than i am actually able.  also i bit off more than i can chew in deciding to essentially design a new pattern (OOPS).  but i do feel surprisingly giddy for having only slept for an hour and a half last night so i could stay up and finish my project.   Wink  i really hope my partner likes it!

I am sure I will love everything.  My package was sent this morning as well, You should recieve it soon too, by monday.

I heard Hersheys is moving it's factory to Mexico.
It's true.  They are working on cheaper labor.
Hope that doesn't mean the chocolate will be more expensive Sad

Actually, the price did just go up. That was because the price of oil went up, so it costs more to ship in the cocoa beans. The reason that they are making factories in Mexico and China is because they want a slice of the worldwide chocolate industry. Apparently if you go over to Europe, it's all Nestle and Cadbury.

for those of you who sent early or on time - way to go, you are awesome!

there are just a few people who had a hard time making the deadline today, so:

deadline extended to Tuesday, Feb 5

most of them have been in good communications with their partners and organizers (you know who you are if you haven't contacted your organizer yet!!!!)

I am therefore going to extend the send out deadline to next Tuesday the 4th, but anyone who has not contacted organizers by then, with a DC# or message with proof that package is sent, or a credible explanation for delay, will get negative feedback and be noted as sending late in feedback.

negative feedback can be redeemed by sending your partners package, even if it is late, and notes will reflect that

thank you

will that give the rest of you enough extra time? I hope?

I know what you mean and I may have to wait two weeks or more for my partner to get to see what I sent her as she is out of town untl the 12th.  And since she will not have seen what I sent her I will not be able to show everyone in the gallery.  I will just have to enjoy what everyone else is getting and posting in the gallery.
