does anyone have a copy of the "modern granny" afghan?
i think it was on a DuPont acrylic yarn wrapper, if not DuPont, then some sort of acrylic yarn.
the original pattern called for brown, red, dark yellow, and fisherman.
you made 24 squares on a K hook and it finished at 40'x60'.
it was advertised as "written in plain english" rather than crochet abbreviations.
that's just about as much as i remember.
the afghan was pictured draped over a chair and the colors were mostly yellowish and there was a lamp in the background.

i'm trying to get it made for my best friend in time for christmas, but i left the pattern at my friend's house last night.
thanks for anything!

i did a search for dupont yarn and the main things i got were berroco and lion brand.  At www.lionbrandyarn.com they have a list of the yarns they sell and all their free patterns.  I've been looking and even though i found 'fisherman' color, i still haven't come across the pattern!!
