About a month and a half ago, my upstairs neighbor adopted the world's smallest kitten. She is an incredibly sweet, easy-going little cat, but was a little lacking in holiday spirit. So of course she needed a santa hat.

I whipped it up in a couple of hours: Caron Simply Soft yarn, garter stitch border, cast off and then cast back on to make ear holes, decrease evenly every 3 rounds to make the hat pointy, a few strands of yarn for the "pom pom", and an i-cord chin strap to keep it on her. Oh, and at Husband's request, I used a small piece of yarn to tie tip to the side of the hat so it "droops" appropriately.

Oh my god, that is too cute for words! I love that her ears poke out of the hat, that's awesome. Merry Yule to the little kitten and you! Smiley
