Thanks dudes. For now I'm gonna keep hold of it and tuck it out of sight. I'll see what I think in a few months when the wound isn't so raw. Let's just say it was a rough break up.

I hope you are feeling better after a few months.  Men can be.....not so nice sometimes.
You can go my one friends route of donation.  Each year when she does her big downtown shopping trip (the trip of pain),  she brings scarves and such in her "recycle" shopping bag.  She hands them out as she walks down the street to any homeless person she finds along the way.  Since "the trip of pain" is just before the weather turns cold, most don't have the winter items they need from the donation centers.  She also gives them homemade granola bars but that really doesn't go with the scarf stuff.
