So, I don't know about you guys, maybe I'm the only one who is custard-challenged, but I've attempted creme brulee at least ten times - only to end up with sugary scrambled eggs every time.

I decided to make one more run at it when I found this recipe:

Thanks for sharing Smiley I love creme brulee. I use a similar recipe to make mine, only mine doesn't involve the microwave step (which is good because I don't have a microwave). I like it much better than the custardy type of creme brulee!

I'd love to recreate a lavender-infused creme brulee I had at a (now-defunct) restaurant a few years ago. It smelled divine!!!!

Anyone have any ideas?
